Erasmus Medical Center has a number of patients with tracheostomy tubes who require a specialized kit containing essential components to maintain and, if necessary, replace the tube during emergencies. Currently, there is no effective system for organizing the reserve items patients must carry with them at all times. The objective is to design a compact, practical, and organized emergency kit that tracheostomy patients can easily carry. The kit must contain all necessary items for tube maintenance and replacement in a convenient and accessible manner. The kit will be produced in a limited series of approximately 250 units.

Key Requirements: (1)The kit must be compact and easy to carry, (2) it should provide clear organization of components for quick access during emergencies, and (3) the design must prioritize practicality and user-friendliness.

Solution

T.E.G. is a tracheostomy emergency bag for patients with tracheostomy tubes. This bag is multifunctional in carrying and custom bag layout. It does not appear to be a medical bag, for patients who do not want to stand out in public spaces. This fancy bag is easy to open due to the magnetic hasp, ideal for emergencies.
